1871 Interviews AutoPair Founder Ken Koger
1871, the de facto hub and showcase for technology startups in Chicago, recently sat down and interviewed AutoPair's founder & CEO, Ken Koger. Ken was chosen by 1871 along with 2 other member startups to share his thoughts on his relationship with 1871 and how it has impacted the growth of AutoPair.
"1871 has, by far, been an excellent partner for AutoPair. As I was developing the whole AutoPair concept and platform, I was really operating on an island by myself, creating everything from my home office in my spare time. I realized that I needed to be more connected in the tech community. I looked at several incubators here in Chicago, but ultimately chose 1871 as they had more resources, classes, events and mentors than any of the other incubators in the city." Those connections have proven to be invaluable to the development of AutoPair."
"...They had more resources, classes, events and mentors...those connections have proven to be invaluable..."

The interview, which was videotaped, will be used by 1871 for promotional purposes throughout the coming year. Sound bites will be edited and used across a wide variety of media and platforms including social channels, video channels, radio and television. 1871 wanted to showcase a few of their members for the promotional pieces and AutoPair was an easy choice.
Today, 1871 is regarded as the largest technology incubator in North America and AutoPair calls 1871 home. 1871 is also one of nine North American tech hubs in the Google for Entrepreneurs network.1871 provides AutoPair with office space, programming, educational resources, space, and access to a community of like-minded entrepreneurs. Other notable technology startups that have come out of 1871 have been Spark Notes, Grub Hub, Spot Hero, along with many appearing on ABC's SharkTank.
