The Impact of Bunker Labs on AutoPair

Several years ago, AutoPair founder & CEO Ken Koger had a vision to create a network that provided resources to help vehicle owners and shop owners. Tapping into his military experience provided Ken with the tools to deploy that plan.

Five years ago, Todd Conner, CEO of Bunker Labs had a vision that every member of the veteran community has the network and resources to realize their entrepreneurial potential. This vision began an organization called Bunker Labs.

Today, AutoPair has realized the impact of Bunker Labs and actively utilizes the Bunker's tools and resources in bringing the AutoPair solution to the general public.

Bunker Labs is a national not-for-profit organization built by veterans for veteran entrepreneurs to start and grow businesses. This organization enables veterans to inspire, equip, and connect through local and national chapters across the United States. Bunker Labs is home to over 700 ambitious veteran entrepreneurs at all stages of their journey. Bunker Labs has helped many start-up companies grow by providing an ecosystem of support. This is a reason why AutoPair decided to join Bunker Labs last year.

AutoPair is a member of many Bunker Labs programs including CEO Circle and Launch Lab Cohort located in 1871. AutoPair believes that these programs help to educate veterans as well as address personal growth and skills. Something that separates this organization from others looking to include veterans is the support and empowerment of veterans. The Veterans in the Bunker Labs community take the skills that they have learned on the battlefield and apply them to their businesses. Some of these skills include strategic thinking, direct lines of communication, accountability, and creating goals. Although having acquired many skills, one of the biggest obstacles for Veterans is networking. While 62% of veterans believe that a lack of civilian networks is a significant challenge, Bunker Labs provides a community of networking for Veterans to engage in the context of entrepreneurship and business growth.

There are many events and workshops that help to mentor the Bunker Labs community. AutoPair had the opportunity to attend this month's Bunker Brews networking event held at William Blair, an investment bank in Chicago, Illinois. This month's event discussed the topics of trusting your instincts with Slalom Chicago and inspiration from special guests, Howard Tullman and Elizabeth "Betsy" Ziegler. Each speaker highlighted the topics of solving business problems, the importance of networking in a startup company, and building for the future. After attending this event, AutoPair walked away with valuable knowledge and new connections that would not have been made without attending Bunker Brews.

The Bunker Labs community has not only committed themselves to helping the veteran entrepreneur industry grow, but to excel and become the leaders in entrepreneurship and innovation. This organization has many initiatives to help veteran entrepreneurs grow and excel. The support that Bunker Labs provides veterans from beginning to end is one of many reasons AutoPair decided to join this organization.
