Ken's background in the automotive industry and technology paved the way to develop the AutoPair concept and platform.
Besides being a licensed investment advisor and financial planner, he previously owned a video production company which contributed to his tech and marketing background. He spent several years as a manufacturers representative for an engine and transmission remanufacturer calling on the same shop owners that AutoPair serves today.
As a self described "gear-head", Ken has always had a passion for automobiles. That passion started early in his youth with his mother and father introducing him to auto racing. Ken went on to race himself cutting his teeth racing go-karts and Legend Cars while ultimately being involved with a sprint car operation.
Ken is a veteran of the US Navy and was deployed to the Persian Gulf during the Persian Gulf War. He has made it an initiative of AutoPair to help provide employment opportunities to veterans and their spouses.
During his undergraduate years at Ball State University, Ken discovered cycling. He rode in competitive cycling events for his fraternity, the Ball State Cycling Club and a private team. Ken still rides daily and participates in long distance endurance cycling events across the midwest.
Ken resides in Naperville, IL with his wife Dawn. He has two children, a son and a daughter, both of whom are in college.
